To qualify for this program, applicants must:

• Be at least 19 years old
• Hold a valid Class 5 or 6 BC driver’s license
• Pass a medical exam and driver’s abstract review
• Demonstrate a strong interest in pursuing a career in transportation
• Reside in British Columbia (West Kootenay region preferred)
• Have a Social Insurance Number
• Be a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Protected Person
• Not currently enrolled in any other federally or provincially funded training programs
• Be unemployed, or employed part-time, seasonally, casually, or precariously (e.g., employed but at risk of losing a job)
