The bursaries are for youth whose family is living at or below the living wage threshold (household income of less than $78,000).
Applications open February 1st each year with recipients announced before graduation in June. This year’s application deadline is May 15.
Stepping Out Bursary
This bursary is Open.
Accepting applications until November 1, 2024.
Through the Women Creating Change project, the Skills Centre in collaboration with Trail FAIR Society, identified access to education and training as a critical component to improving economic security for women in our community.
Working with various community partners, the Women Creating Change project team established the Stepping Out Bursary to provide women living at or below the living wage an opportunity to improve or increase their education levels and contribute to increased financial independence.
